This pendant takes the shape of a Touareg cross, which were worn as talismans for navigating the spiritual realms and, symbolically, the four corners of the earth. This cross features a hand-etched Palm Tree symbol. While Morocco is known for its desert, there are areas where water has reached dry land such as in the Dades and Draa valleys, creating lush green oases of beautiful Date Palm Trees. These areas are crucial for nomadic desert tribes like the Touareg to replenish water and supplies.
