This statement pendant was inspired by the windy, coastal city beaches of Essaouira, Morocco, an ancient Atlantic port city historically known as Mogador (meaning “safe anchorage”) where our jewelry is hand-made.

The hand-etching is a traditional pattern found in textiles and jewelry in Essaouira, and the design is reminiscent of the peninsula’s unusually strong wind patterns.

Combined with the properties of howlite, this pendant serves as a calming talisman amidst the chaotic winds of change.
